Our story

  1. 1930s

    A family cattle operation

    Allendale Farms started in the 1930s as a family cattle operation.

  2. 1970s

    Beefmaster bulls

    Through the 1970s, the farm produced some of the finest Beefmaster bulls in the country.

  3. 1989

    An all-breed breeding service

    John Allen began breeding horses, and Allendale Farms became an all-breed breeding service, including frozen stallion semen.

  4. 2024

    Graham carries it on

    John's son, Graham Allen, began freezing stallions and carries on the legacy today.

Our process for freezing semen exceeds industry standards. We're proud of our results, and proud to work with some of the best horses and owners in the southeast. We truly believe frozen semen is the future of the horse industry.

What we do today

Freezing

We bring the mobile lab to your farm and freeze the semen in straws in liquid nitrogen, so it is ready the moment your mare is.

Storage

We store the semen for you in liquid nitrogen, for as long as you need it.

Shipping

We ship it where you need it, in containers made for frozen semen.

Our lab is 100% mobile. We come to your farm and travel across Georgia and the surrounding states.
